The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) was imposed since 2018, aiming to protect the privacy of personal data of residents in the Eurozone. It has gain momentum in the business sector in Europe as all enterprises or companies that uses personal data of European residents will have to comply with the law. Despite Brexit, the United Kingdom also said that they would also implement the law. The law also states that the companies should not share the information with others without full consent of users.
